The developer manages the SDLC of various java platforms including architecture, design, development, UAT, and release cycle management. The role utilizes strong technical and analytical skills to understand the business processes and translate them into technical flows for implementation. Persons in this role will need to perform the following: Implement and Test projects against tight timelines, execute a wide variety of UNIX commands and scripts, Test web services, create automated test scripts using SoapUI and collaborate with teams in various locations. Participating in all aspects of the SDLC lifecycle including design, development, testing, and deployment.

Main Requirements and Areas of Responsibility:

At least 10+ years of overall IT experience

Web Programming: Java, Java Beans, Java Servlets, JavaScript / Angular JS or React, Java J2EE, Hibernate, Spring, Spring boot and JMS. Application servers, Tomcat, WebSphere. Data modelling, database design, Oracle PL/SQL.

Experience with XML & JSON

At least 3+ years of experience with applications supporting Compliance – KYC, Sanction Screening, Transaction Screening, etc.

DevOps process such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Tools like Jenkins or CircleCI is a plus

Workflow engines such as BPM, Appian, jPBM or the like, and rules engines such as ODM or DROOLS will be a plus

System architecture/design experience

Experience working with RDBMS & strong SQL skills

Experience with Postman or similar tool

Ability to communicate clearly within and outside of the development team.

Managing/mentoring junior developers and/or contractors on a per project basis.

Lead the technical planning & requirements gathering phases including estimate, develop, test, manage projects, architect and deliver.

Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members.

Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level

Nice to have attributes:

Serve as a technical lead and mentor. Provide technical support or leadership in the development and continual improvement of service.

Experience with test strategy/plan definition, scenario, and script development; management of User Acceptance Testing

Salary Range

$100,000 - $155,000

BBH’s compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range(s) shown above are only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
