The qualified Nurse practices independently in a similar clinical setting, providing both routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies.
Responsibilities include delivering nursing care using the nursing process, assessing and addressing patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs, administering medications and treatments, documenting care, and educating patients and families.
Meets competency expectations across leadership levels, demonstrating adherence to ANA standards.
Requires a BSN (preferred), at least 1 year of relevant experience, and a valid RN license.
Certifications such as BLS and ACLS are mandatory, with additional credentials obtained within specified grace periods.
