Resident Care Companion and STNA (Days) Danbury Columbus

Seeking a competent RN with at least 1 year of related experience to provide independent, routine, and complex patient care in a specialized hospital setting.

Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation; addressing patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs; administering medications and treatments following protocols; documenting patient information; and educating patients and families.

Requirements encompass a BSN preferred, RN license (state or compact), BLS certification, and ACLS certification within 30 days of hire. Newly hired RNs undergo orientation, preceptorship, and competency validation.

Work schedule is 7 PM - 7 AM, full-time. The facility offers a broad range of specialized services, including ICU, surgical, women’s, cardiovascular, outpatient imaging, and residency programs.

Candidates must meet credentialing timelines and complete annual competencies.
