Licensed Practical Nurse (PT and FT Opportunities, 1st, 2nd, 3rd 8

This position offers student nurses the opportunity to gain hands-on experience under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, focusing on nursing processes and practice.

Responsibilities include participating in educational sessions, job shadowing, and assisting with patient care.

The Nurse Extern may provide patient care in a Nurse Assistant role as approved by the manager.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, enrollment in an accredited nursing program (4th-year student from a 4-year college or 3rd/4th semester from a 2-year college), prior patient care experience through fundamentals classes, and CPR certification (American Heart Association).
