Summary: An experienced Nurse in Critical Care or similar settings providing independent, complex patient care based on treatment plans.
Demonstrates clinical awareness, delegates appropriately, and manages contingencies effectively.
Meets competency standards in self and team leadership, adaptable to multiple units, and proactively ensures patient flow and safety.
Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, addressing psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
Administers medications, educates patients and families, and maintains accurate documentation.
Ensures unit operations, resource management, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Requires a BSN (preferred), minimum 2 years CC experience plus another specialty, RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS (at Children’s Hospital), and NRP (at Children’s Hospital). Work schedule: 7PM-7AM, full-time.
