The Nurse practices independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals. They demonstrate awareness of all relevant aspects of patient situations, make appropriate assignments, and delegate tasks to care providers.
Meets competency expectations and utilizes the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Addresses patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs, providing education to patients and families.
Administers medications and treatments per protocol, monitors effectiveness, and documents care.
Assesses learning needs and resources, continuing professional development.
Requirements include a BSN preferred, at least 1 year of related experience, RN license, BLS, and ACLS certification. Orientation, precepting, and annual competency completion are mandatory. Work schedule is 7AM-7PM, full-time.
