Description:
The PACU Nurse is responsible for assessing patients immediately after procedures and leading the planning, implementation, and evaluation of their nursing care.
Provides technical nursing interventions to a diverse patient population, from infants to the elderly, aligned with their developmental needs.
Demonstrates understanding of the hospital’s mission and core values, supporting strategic and performance improvement goals.
May be required to cross-train to other units such as DSU or PAT.
Requirements include at least one year of recent Medical-Surgical or Critical Care experience (preferred), current Louisiana RN license, BLS certification, and PALS/ACLS as applicable.
Work schedule is per diem/as needed.
