The Registered Nurse is a clinical practitioner responsible for coordinating and implementing patient care tailored to the specific age group on assigned units.
Ensures delivery of safe, quality care aligned with unit standards and organizational goals.
Demonstrates professionalism, respect, and effective communication with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN license (NM or Compact), and BLS certification within 2 weeks of hire.
Other certifications must be obtained within 6 months; ongoing maintenance is required.
Possesses current knowledge relevant to the patient population, respects patient rights, and communicates appropriately.
Works under supervision of the Patient Care Director or Manager in a safe, clean environment, with exposure to infectious risks and variable hours.
Must meet physical demands including mobility, strength, and dexterity for patient care and emergency situations.
