The Nurse is expected to practice independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals. They demonstrate awareness of all relevant aspects of patient situations, delegate effectively, and develop contingencies for clinical nursing.
Responsibilities include delivering nursing care per ANA standards, assessing and addressing patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs, administering medications, documenting care, and educating patients and families.
Qualifications require a BSN (preferred), at least 1 year of related nursing experience, and appropriate licensure (RN license and BLS). Certifications such as ACLS and PALS are required within specified timeframes.
New hires undergo orientation and preceptorship, with annual competency validations. Experience in perioperative or OR settings is preferred. Work schedule is to be determined, and the position is full-time.
