The Nurse practices independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies.
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, and evaluating patient care, addressing patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
Administers medications and treatments per protocols, monitors effects, and documents care and patient history.
Provides patient and family education, identifying learning needs and resources.
Meets competency expectations across leadership and nursing standards, with onboarding and ongoing skill validation.
Requires a BSN (preferred), 1+ year of related experience, RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Additional certifications may be required within specified time frames; new hires attend orientation and are precepted.
Work schedule is per diem as needed.
