The registered nurse practices independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies.
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care per ANA standards, addressing patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
Administers medications and treatments using proper protocols, monitors effects, and documents care and patient history.
Evaluates learning needs and provides education to patients, families, and caregivers.
Demonstrates leadership through self-awareness, team management, and delegation.
Requirements include a BSN preferred, at least 1 year of related experience, RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications, with ongoing competency validation and orientation for new hires. Certifications must be obtained within specified grace periods based on experience. Work schedule varies; position is full-time.
