The Nurse, with relevant clinical experience, practices independently, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies.
Demonstrates leadership by meeting core competencies and applying the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families, administers medications safely, and documents care accurately.
Assess learning needs, provide patient and family education, and coordinate appropriate resources.
Requires a BSN (preferred), at least 1 year of related nursing experience, current RN license, and BLS certification; ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
New hires undergo orientation, preceptorship, and competency validation. Credentialing and certification timelines vary by experience and specialty.
Position is per diem, with work schedule to be determined. All associates must obtain required certifications within specified grace periods.
