Summary: An experienced Nurse in a similar clinical setting practices independently, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals. Demonstrates awareness of all relevant aspects of patient situations and delegates appropriately to team members.
Provides nursing care per ANA standards, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
Administers medications and treatments using appropriate protocols, monitoring for effects.
Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
Assesses learning needs and offers education to patients, families, and caregivers.
Requirements include a BSN preferred, 1+ year of related nursing experience, active RN license, BLS, NRP, and STABLE certification. New hires must attend orientation and complete competency validations. Experience in perinatal care is preferred. The position is per diem, with work schedule TBD. Certifications must be obtained within designated time frames based on experience.
