Physician Pediatrics

This pharmacy residency program prepares pharmacists to become healthcare leaders through comprehensive training and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Participants will develop skills in evidence-based medicine, medication reviews, disease state management, and healthcare education for providers, patients, and the community.

Residents will engage in team leadership, committee participation, and complete a formal project to enhance medication programs.

The program emphasizes patient-centered responsibilities, with approximately 75% of time dedicated to direct care and 25% to projects.

Requirements include graduation from an ACPE-accredited pharmacy school, Missouri pharmacist licensure or eligibility, and certifications in Medication Therapy Services, BLS, and ACLS within designated timelines. Preferred certifications include immunization delivery.
