Description:
The Nurse, with comparable clinical experience, practices independently and manages routine and complex patient care with a focus on long-term goals.
Demonstrates awareness of all relevant aspects of clinical situations and delegates appropriately to care team members.
Provides nursing care based on the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—aligning with ANA standards.
Addresses patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs, tailoring care accordingly.
Administers medications and treatments per protocol, monitors effectiveness and side effects, and documents all care activities.
Assesses learning needs, educates patients and families, and identifies additional resources.
Meets competency expectations related to self-leadership and team leadership.
Education preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Experience: 1 year in related nursing specialty preferred.
Licenses: BLS required; RN license in state or compact.
