We seek an Audiologist to perform medical assessments on U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
The Veteran's claim and medical records are reviewed beforehand, and assessments include the Maryland CNC and Puretone Audiometric tests.
The Audiologist completes a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) to provide medical evidence for VA benefit decisions.
This role does not involve prescribing treatments or devices.
On average, you'll review 3-6 Veterans per day in a schedule of 3 days/week.
The position is in-person, offering 1 to 1.5 hours per patient, with no evenings, weekends, or on-call duties.
Requirements include an Au.D from an ASHA-accredited school and a current Audiology license.
