The Pediatric Surgical Unit Nurse provides independent, comprehensive care in a clinical setting, focusing on pediatric patients undergoing surgery.
Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, comfort, and well-being throughout perioperative care, managing tracheostomy with ventilator support, and addressing respiratory conditions.
The role involves assessment, medication administration, post-op care, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
The nurse demonstrates leadership, adheres to ANA standards, and educates patients and families.
Qualifications include a BSN (preferred), at least 1 year of relevant experience, BLS certification, and an RN license.
Schedule: 7PM-7AM, full-time position.
