The Nurse practices independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies.
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care according to ANA standards.
Addresses patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs, administers medications, documents care, and educates patients and families.
Utilizes critical thinking, develops care plans, and reassesses patient progress.
Manages patient throughput, discharge, and transfer processes, and oversees unit operations and safety practices.
Ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, maintains documentation, and manages medical equipment and orders.
Qualifications include a BSN preferred, RN license, BLS certification, and specialty certifications like NCC Fetal Monitoring, ACLS, and NRP.
Experience in perinatal care is preferred; new hires must complete orientation and competency requirements.
Per diem, as-needed schedule.
