Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 7p-7a and 7a-7p Shifts

This Ophthalmologist role involves performing comprehensive eye exams on U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's SHA process.

The position is focused on assessments; the Ophthalmologist will review medical records, conduct exams, and complete electronic forms via a secure Web Portal.

They will not make treatment decisions; the VA determines all outcomes.

Expected to assess 3-6 Veterans daily and travel within Alaska to various clinical locations.

This is a PRN, 1099 independent contractor position, not a treating role.

Requirements include holding a valid U.S. ophthalmology license, proficiency in Visual Field Testing, and meeting VA credentialing standards.

Ideal candidates are interested in assessment roles, capable of analyzing medical data, and possess strong communication skills.

Timely submission of exam forms (within 24 hours) is essential.
