Nurse Extern I-Nursing Internship-PRN

Seeking a competent RN with at least 1 year of experience in a similar clinical setting to provide independent, routine, and complex care on a 30-bed Acute Telemetry unit.

Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation, while addressing patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.

Administer treatments, monitor side-effects, document care, and educate patients and families.

Must meet competency standards, attend orientation, and complete required certifications such as BLS and ACLS within specified timeframes.

Preferred education is a BSN; current RN license in the state or compact required.
