The Nurse Manager is responsible for 24/7 oversight of nursing practice and operations in assigned areas, impacting departmental outcomes through implementation and evaluation of hospital policies and goals.
Facilitates communication and collaboration to promote excellent patient care, experience, and outcomes.
Manages staff and resources to deliver safe, cost-effective, and effective patient care.
Promotes staff development, participates in goal setting, monitors unit operations, and implements corrective actions.
Ensures compliance with regulatory standards, develops policies, and participates in emergency planning.
Recruits, coaches, evaluates staff performance, and fosters professional growth.
Addresses conflicts, delegates effectively, and encourages involvement in process improvement.
Maintains staffing, assesses competencies, and collaborates with physicians and other departments.
Contributes to budgets, manages resources, and ensures documentation of quality standards.
Performs patient-centered care, aligning with age-specific and developmental needs, and adheres to core values. Must hold a Bachelor's Degree, RN license, and BLS certification.
