The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers patient care tailored to the specific age group of the assigned unit, ensuring safety and quality aligned with organizational standards.

Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program and hold a current RN license in New Mexico or a Compact state.

BLS certification required within 2 weeks of hire; other certifications within 6 months, maintained if already obtained.

Possesses current knowledge relevant to patient age/type, communicates effectively, and respects patient rights.

Supervised by the Patient Care Director or Manager, working in a clean, safe environment with exposure to infectious diseases and potential emergencies.

Physical requirements include handling emergencies, extensive standing/walking, repositioning patients, and fine motor skills; vision and hearing within normal limits.
