Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program and hold a current RN license in New Mexico or a Compact state.
BLS certification required within 2 weeks of hire; other certifications within 6 months, maintained if already obtained.
Possesses current knowledge relevant to patient age/type, communicates effectively, and respects patient rights.
Supervised by the Patient Care Director or Manager, working in a clean, safe environment with exposure to infectious diseases and potential emergencies.
Physical requirements include handling emergencies, extensive standing/walking, repositioning patients, and fine motor skills; vision and hearing within normal limits.
