Optometrist – Veteran Disability Assessments

We are seeking a dedicated Optometrist to perform medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. This non-treating, assessment-focused role involves conducting comprehensive eye exams, reviewing electronic medical records via a secure portal, and performing Visual Field Testing (VFT).

The position is part-time, 3 days/week, in-person, with a caseload of 4-6 Veterans daily. Equipment is provided.

Candidates should hold an active Optometrist license, be proficient in VFT, and comfortable using technology for documentation.

The role requires a compassionate demeanor, strong analytical skills, and excellent time management.
