The Nurse, with relevant experience, practices independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies.

Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation), addressing patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs, administering medications, documenting care, and educating patients and families.

Meets core competencies: Leader of Self, Others, or Leaders.

Requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred), 1+ year of related experience, RN license, and certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC.

New hires undergo orientation and preceptorship, with competency validation.

Experience in perioperative nursing or OR setting is preferred.

Certifications must be obtained within specified grace periods.
