The Registered Nurse is a clinical practitioner responsible for coordinating and implementing patient care tailored to the patient’s age group on assigned units.

Ensures delivery of quality, safe, and efficient care aligned with unit standards and organizational goals.

Demonstrates professionalism, respect, and effective communication with staff, physicians, patients, and families.

Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN license, BLS certification (within 2 weeks), and other certifications within 6 months.

Possesses current knowledge of care for the specific patient population and respects patient rights.

Works under supervision of the Patient Care Director or Manager in a clean, safe environment, with exposure to infectious diseases.

Must handle emergencies, perform physical tasks including lifting and positioning patients, and have good sensory and manual dexterity.
