QUALIFICATIONS:
High School graduate
Experience in public school clerical/secretarial position preferred.
SKILLS:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent knowledge of English usage and grammar
Proficient in organization and composition of letters, reports, and spreadsheets
Ability to multitask
Background in computer applications including databases and student record systems
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and all Google Apps
DUTIES:
Provide clerical and administrative support to the School Counseling Department
Any and all responsibilities assigned by the Director of School Counseling
Ability to facilitate and plan large scale events
Maintain a high volume of calendar events to ensure the department's efficiency with day to day operations
Maintaining an open line of communication between the high school and the parents through the use of mass communication methods such as social media outlets, school website, and School Messenger
Prepare complex documents, presentations, and reports
Hold as confidential, all aspects of the job designated confidential by the School Administration
