EVANGEL UNIVERSITY EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO THE VP OF BUSINESS AND FINANCE JOB TITLE: Executive Assistant to the Vice President Business & Finance ("VPBF") REPORTS TO: VP for Business & Finance/CFO CLASSIFICATION: Full-time / Salaried Exempt JOB SUMMARY: The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to the Business and Finance office.
The Executive Assistant will manage various administrative duties and handle multiple incoming issues and concerns addressed to the VPBF and overall Business and Finance office with discretion and judgment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Executive Admin Duties with CFO: * Perform a broad range of executive-level administrative functions as well as complex technical administrative support work, including preparation of routine and advanced correspondence, receiving visitors, screening phone calls, and processing various bank and legal documents.
* Manage the VPBF's schedule, including managing calendar and noting deadlines.
* Convey the VPBF's response, instruction, or message to other departments or persons as instructed.
* Work closely with the VPBF to manage and coordinate activities and day-to-day operations of the VPBF's Office and portfolio of departments.
* Handle confidential and non-routine information.
* Assist with meetings and notes for Board of Trustee committee meetings specifically for the Operations Committee and the Audit Committee.
* Other duties as assigned.
Executive Admin Duties for Business and Finance Office: * Act as the liaison for property and liability insurance for the University, including assistance with annual renewals, ensuring all forms and policies related to liability are being documented and followed, and assisting with claim processes and documentation.
* Process driver approvals for the University, including acquisition of motor vehicle records as required.
Actively maintain accurate records of approved drivers.
* Executive Admin Duties for Business and Finance Office: Executive Admin Duties for Business and Finance Office cont'd: * Maintain records of all University legal documents including contracts, insurance policies, investments, and property documents.
* Administrate, process requests and train employees approved to use an Evangel credit card for travel and various purchases.
* Understand and explain University policies when necessary.
* Perform banking functions as requested.
* Other duties as assigned.

* Good work attendance record and time management skills.
Experience: * Minimum of five years of executive administrative experience required.
* Post-secondary education preferred.
Skills: * Demonstrated competence using Microsoft programs including Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint * Basic knowledge of budgets, accounting, and math skills.
