* AMR map modifications and improvements of software logic using 3rd party systems and PLC logic * Optimizing system performance through analysis, simulation, and experimentation.
* Communicating project status and technical details to the customer and project team.
* Delivery of training to end users * Troubleshooting software & hardware technical issues with internal and external teams * Ability to travel for business within North America.
Additional responsibilities: * Documenting product and process changes from lessons learned on site * Working with the AMR System Integration team to improve tools and solutions * Support technical set up for customer demonstrations and trade shows.
* Track and record all expenses such as job costs and travel * Ensure that all activities are performed with highest ethical standards and in compliance with RAMP and Samuel business policies * Adhere to both internal and customer site health and safety rules and procedures Qualifications * Strong people skills and the ability to communicate effectively verbally and written * 3+ years of experience commissioning & integrating industrial automated equipment or software that interfaces to the equipment * Ability to travel both domestically and internationally.
A passport and valid driver's license are required.
Education: * College/University diploma or degree in an engineering, design, or industrial controls pr related field Experience: * Experience working directly with clients/end-users * Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical systems/subsystems * Interpretation and analysis of mechanical drawings and electrical schematics * PLC design and integration experience including experience with various Controls platforms (i.e.
Allen Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff, Omron etc.) * Self-motivated and organized with attention to detail * Experience with AMR/AGV systems integration * Training users of automated equipment/software At Samuel we believe in a culture of equality.
