Junior Electrical Engineer

Focus Engineering is currently looking for an Electrical Maritime/Naval Engineer for a shipbuilding company in South Holland.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Designing advanced electrical systems for cutting-edge naval vessels

Ensuring optimal power distribution, cabling, and EMC-compliant solutions

Working within a multidisciplinary team in a high-tech 3D engineering environment

Drafting functional system descriptions and technical specifications

Coordinating with vendors and integrating third-party systems into vessel designs

Supporting validation, testing, and commissioning phases from concept to delivery

Contributing to innovative, sustainable shipbuilding projects with global impact

Who are you?

At least 3 years in maritime or offshore industry

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

Preferable knowledge of EMC-compliant design; familiarity with TEMPEST is a plus

Holder of an EU passport (security clearance required)
