JOB DETAILS
Base Pay: $21-$41 per hour
Day Shift: 7:30am-4pm (Monday-Friday)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Install, maintain, improve, and repair equipment, plant, services and building installations to set levels effectively in compliance with best practices’
Ensuring production efficiency can be met within a safe well-presented facility
Respond to technical issues affecting production and maintain electrical and mechanical services through Planned Preventative Maintenance (PM)
Level 2 Arc flash gear will be provided, and Daily wear is a requirement of the Job
Proper PPE is daily requirement and provided. EE rated boots, Safety glasses and Ear protection
Additional Arc Flash gear will be Provided
Ability to Run Conduit, liquid tight conduit, MC and cabling as required
Ability to trace circuits, install electrical drops per NEC and best electrical Practice.
Label ands d trace as required
Assist in Building and maintaining One-line Diagrams for building
Familiar with NEC 70 code – all work done to Code. Code Books provided by facility
Ability to diagnose and Replace Data Cables as required Per code
Prefer Licensed Journey man electrician. – ability to obtain License within 2-year period would be considered a job requirement
Company is willing to assist in achieving this goal/ requirement
Ability to figure Loads, size wire and cabling according to load requirements
Ability to install transformers, LV and HV panels as required
Ability to perform Standard Electrical PMs on HV and LV panels
Switch gear PM’s and thermal imaging will be performed by Outside Contractors
Distribution Panel work will be overseen and monitored at Safe electrical work distance and practices
Carry out diagnosis of faults, perform maintenance and repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe, timely and professional manner and return equipment to operational service
Estimate length of time required to complete a job and likely consequences of failure to complete work within required time scales
Identify and escalate any activity that has the potential to cause harm or damage
Report breakdown root causes, equipment faults and concerns to management
Use Trouble shooting method such 5 Why, fish boning, and root cause Analysis
Ensure all work is undertaken to a high-quality standard and adheres to all quality standard regulations
Ensure company targets are met in respect of quality of parts produced
Identify spares requirements and log usage
Assist in the development of planned preventative maintenance (PM) schedules
Carry out PM schedules as necessary and planned work orders as required and provide feedback to develop the system ·
Assist with the moving, installation, repositioning of machines and equipment
Make full use of the computerized maintenance management system
CMMS tracking and Data Entry is a critical component of the job
Fill in job tickets/log completion of work on the computerized maintenance management system
Operate man lift, fork, and other lifting equipment
Work within 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) methodology to maintain workplace to a high standard
Ensure all personal protective equipment is identified, always available, correctly used and all associated problems are reported to management
Ensure all lost time, minor and trivial accidents are reported
Promote environmental issues and ensure all company procedures are understood and followed ·
Ensure a safe working environment exists for self and colleagues, ensuring all health, safety environmental and quality management procedures are followed and achieve the company’s and departmental KPI targets ·
Undertake special projects as required
Undertake continuous training and development ·
Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems, able to identify root cause of any losses.
Aid less experienced technicians and apprentices ·
Support training needs of the department and provide expertise to apprentices and trainees
Qualifications
2-3 Years in Field, Associates or Certificate in Electrical desired but non required
Strong Electrical and Electrical Diagnostic skills
Ability to read and interpret complex prints and Diagrams
Ability to Work with and Diagnose CNC equipment- Training available and can be provided
Understanding of G code and M codes is desired- Training available and can be provided
PLC skills and electronic drive Control skills. available and can be provided
Connected components, and knowledge of Allen Bradly software desired
Ability to work with and learn Multiple Types of Drives, PLCS, HMI and Software
Experience with Fanuc Control desired, but we will provide training
Robotic experience is desired, but we will train
Manufacturing Experience is desired
Exercise substantial initiative/judgement in work methods and interpreting goals
Work independently and is reviewed infrequently with minimal supervision
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Communicate with clarity and demonstrate excellence in approach to work and people activities
Solid understanding of all people related processes and procedures
Good understanding of customer expectations and deliverables with an awareness of the impact of failure/cost of poor quality
