Systems Administrator II with Security Clearance

System Administrator - Level 2

Location: Annapolis Junction, MD

Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph

Overview:

Seeking a skilled and experienced System Administrator - Level 2 to provide technical support for network, desktop, and systems hardware and software. This role is integral to our Tier 2 Remote Operations team. The position offers an opportunity to work in a high-priority environment, solving complex technical issues and contributing to mission-critical operations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.

• Utilize diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions.

• Deliver remote support access using desktop mirroring and other remote access applications across worldwide sites.

• Identify, investigate, resolve, and follow up on user-reported problems related to cloud infrastructure.

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members as required.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma (or GED) and 15+ years of experience OR

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 10+ years of experience.

Certifications:

• DoD 8570 IAT Level 1

• Preferred: CompTIA A+ CE, CompTIA Network+ CE

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in hardware diagnostics and remote assistance tools (e.g., Remote Desktop).

• Experience supporting cloud infrastructure.

Additional Requirements:

• TS/SCI clearance with a Full-Scope Polygraph.

• Compliance with customer-specific training and security requirements (e.g., NDA, OCI training).

Work Schedule:

• Day Shift (Monday-Friday).

Special Notes:

• Pager duty may be required.

• Limited travel within CONUS.
