Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for a Tool, Die & Gauge Maker located at our manufacturing facility in Wheeling, IL.

Pay: $32.31 / hour

Responsibilities

Your Role:

As a Tool, Die & Gauge Maker, you will assist with the maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting of the production tooling in both Plastics and Foil Press Departments.

Reporting to management on all projects and daily production repair requirements in regards to tooling.

Comply with all Plant rules, safety rules, GMP and PPE guidelines and Department work instructions.

Any and all other duties as assigned.

Operates all tool room machinery to aid in the maintenance and repairs of tooling components. Reviews and formulates corrective plans while troubleshooting production tooling. Research container irregularities and enable solutions.

Interacts with appropriate personnel in each department to facilitate necessary repairs. Interpret direction and course of action needed to solve issues.

Performs tooling preventative maintenance for both Plastics and Foil Press Departments. Analyze and coordinate program to ensure tool reliability.

Assist production personnel in the resolution of technical issues. Review and investigate possible procedures to resolve bottlenecks.

Maintain general housekeeping as required. Adhere to RCP requirements for sanitation.

Assist in the process of packaging tooling for shipment. Fabricate necessary pallets or crates to safely transport tooling.

Trained to program and operate CNC machine to complete tooling repairs. Understand process of computer numerically controlled milling machine.

Certified to operate Forklift Truck.

Initiate tooling repair and preventative maintenance workorders using SAP. Maintain and updated information regarding tooling.

Work as directed by Department Supervisor and as assigned by shift Lead.

Perform housekeeping duties.

Requirements

We need you to have:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Completion of apprentice program or 2 years’ experience in maintenance repair

Certification to operate a Forklift Truck, Scissors Lift, Cherry Picker and Bobcat

Ability to do basic machine shop, welding and blueprint reading

Ability to successfully pass the Company designated written test

Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
