Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Functional Massage Therapist in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area. The Functional Massage Therapist will perform therapeutic massages, including bodywork massages and sports massages, to help clients manage stress and reduce joint pain. Daily tasks include providing customer service, developing personalized massage plans and working with a functional personal trainer to discuss client work. Some work from home is acceptable, but the majority of work will be on-site with clients.

It is important to note that we offer fully clothed, oil-less that reduce pain while improving biomechanics, functional massages to our clients.

Qualifications

Therapeutic Massage, Shiatsu, and Body Massage skills, Sports Massage

Experience in stress management techniques

Strong customer service skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and in clients' homes or fitness facilities

Certification in Massage Therapy is required

Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
