Summary:
A healthcare professional responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating patient care activities.
Has clinical and/or functional knowledge, either directly or through delegation, and reports to the Administrative Team.
Collaborates with Clinical Associates to meet patient needs, utilizing communication and resources to ensure quality, cost-effective care.
Responsibilities:
Documents progress notes, treatments, and charges accurately per departmental policies.
Delivers treatment based on clinical protocols, aiming for patient satisfaction and addressing barriers to care.
Ensures efficient, cost-effective patient care within assigned caseload, offering suggestions for improvements and demonstrating flexibility.
Communicates effectively with team members, patients, and families, and identifies communication barriers.
Educates patients on exercises, provides home program instructions, and promotes educational growth through participation in in-services and community education.
Prepares patients and families for discharge, attends case conferences, and completes necessary paperwork promptly.
Performs clinical skills professionally, assists with program development, maintains a clean environment, and participates in meetings.
Requirements:
Associate Degree, OTA License, and BLS certification.
