Seeking Treatment Counselors, Community Corrections, TX LCDC INTERN (Substance Abuse) to make lasting impacts on offenders' lives.
Responsibilities include interviewing, assessing, and establishing rapport with participants using screening tools.
Facilitate individual and group interventions per agency and state regulations, developing treatment plans based on assessments.
Encourage engagement, promote positive attitudes, and manage behavioral issues with therapeutic tools.
Maintain confidentiality of all clinical files and document treatment progress diligently.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related field, with at least one year of mental health or substance use counseling experience preferred.
LCDC Intern license and a valid driver's license are required; must be at least 18 years old.
