Staff Nurse- NCCU- University Hospital

Seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join a new dual diagnosis program focused on treating individuals with co-occurring disorders.

Provide medical evaluations, diagnose and treat acute or chronic illnesses, and develop patient treatment plans.

Assess physical and psychiatric health, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and support health promotion.

Collaborate with medical and clinical staff, communicate with families, and follow legal and regulatory guidelines.

Participate in on-call duties and ensure patient safety with a compassionate, professional attitude.

Qualifications include a Master’s in Nursing, board certification, state licensure, DEA license, and clinical experience with the target patient population preferred.
