The LPN assists patients and collaborates with the healthcare team in providing clinical services including patient intake, history documentation, vital signs, injections, vaccinations, EKGs, and CLIA-waived lab testing.
Responsibilities include collecting health data, performing assessments, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing, along with documenting care and test results accurately.
Supports physicians and clinicians in exams, procedures, and treatments, ensuring proper charting and patient care coordination, including follow-ups and referrals.
Acts as a patient advocate, performs prior authorizations, and promotes wellness through education and health maintenance activities.
Requires completion of an accredited Vocational/Technical Nursing Program, an active Kansas nursing license, and BLS certification, with preferred 1-2 years clinic experience.
