CDL-A Independent Contractor Truck Driver

Seeking a practical nurse for a 20-bed telemetry unit specializing in general and bariatric surgery, including ERAS patients and serving as an alternative for neuro/trauma, hospitalist/medicine, urology, and other surgeries.

Provide practical nursing within established care plans under RN or physician supervision.

Assist in collecting data, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care across all ages.

Contribute to patient database development and interdisciplinary care planning.

Identify educational needs, incorporate them into care, and document accordingly.

Implement prescribed treatments and administer medications.

Act as a patient advocate, ensuring rights and providing psychological and cultural support.

Participate in quality improvement activities and support organizational initiatives.

Contribute to staff orientation and development.

Requirements include a graduate of an accredited practical nursing program, Virginia license, BLS certification, and de-escalation training within four months of hire. Experience is not required. Successful completion of orientation and competency assessments is necessary.
