This role supports the Float Pool, primarily providing care in the Transitional Care Unit (TCU), which focuses on patients transitioning from the Emergency Department to inpatient care.
Responsibilities include age-specific assessments, developing and evaluating individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
Administer treatments and medications accurately using electronic medical records, with flexibility to float to other inpatient areas as needed.
Requirements: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, Virginia RN licensure or eligibility, CPR and other certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP), and proficiency with electronic medical records (EPIC).
Must complete orientation and meet essential job functions.
