The Nurse independently practices in a similar clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies.
Ensures care aligns with ANA standards, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Addresses patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs; administers medications, monitors effects, and documents care.
Provides education to patients and families; utilizes critical thinking to develop and adjust care plans.
Manages patient flow, discharge, and unit operations; ensures safety and regulatory compliance.
Follows clinical policies, maintains accurate health documentation, and ensures equipment functionality.
Qualifications include RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and relevant certifications; preferred BSN and 1-year experience.
Work schedule varies; position is per diem as needed.
