The Registered Nurse collaborates with healthcare providers to deliver clinical services, including patient intake, medical history documentation, vital signs, injections, vaccinations, EKGs, and CLIA-waived lab testing.
Responsibilities encompass collecting health data, performing physical assessments, specimen collection, point-of-care testing, and assisting with exams, procedures, and minor surgeries.
Accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, test results, medications, and patient interactions is essential.
Coordinates patient care, follow-ups, referrals, and manages insurance requirements, including prior authorizations and advocacy.
Promotes wellness through patient education, monitors chronic and preventive care, and participates in developing and implementing care plans.
Schedules and communicates referrals to specialists and ensures all patient information is correctly recorded for quality reporting.
Requires a minimum of clinic experience with all ages, a BSN or RN license, CPR certification, and current Kansas RN licensure.
