The staff nurse (RN) provides direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to deliver effective, evidence-based care within the Texas scope of practice.

Responsibilities include creating a patient-focused, family-centered environment that ensures continuity of care and smooth patient transitions.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred), a current Texas RN license, and at least 1 year of nursing experience (2+ years in ED and pediatric experience preferred).

Certifications required are BLS upon hire; PALS and ACLS preferred or to be completed within the first year and maintained ongoing.
