This role involves setting up and educating patients on home medical equipment, including ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, nebulizers, and oxygen concentrators.
Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, reviewing prescriptions, maintaining patient records, and staying current on respiratory care techniques.
After-hours on-call work may be required.
Qualifications include being a CRT or RRT, with possible eligibility for RNs, LPNs, EMTs, or paramedics, maintaining proper licensure, and having reliable transportation.
Strong communication skills, computer literacy, and knowledge of pulmonary therapy are essential.
Physical demands include lifting up to 25-50 pounds.
