This Staff Nurse position is based in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit at a leading hospital within a Comprehensive Stroke Center.
Our team of neurologists, neurosurgeons, and specialized nurses provides 24/7 monitoring, diagnosis, and intervention for emergency neurological conditions such as strokes, brain injuries, seizures, and other emergencies.
The role involves managing patient and family care, supervising nursing staff, and coordinating care in line with professional standards.
Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, delegating, and evaluating nursing care to achieve positive patient outcomes, enhance patient involvement, and reduce hospital stay.
Minimum education required is a 2-year nursing degree from an accredited program, with current Ohio licensure or interim permit; relevant experience is preferred.
The position involves rotating 36-hour shifts and emphasizes patient care excellence, staff engagement, safety, and cost-effective practices.
