The Respiratory Therapist III provides advanced respiratory care across all age groups, participating in a clinical ladder that reflects professional expertise.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, therapy implementation, education, equipment management, and participation in emergency and trauma situations.

Performs various modalities such as airway clearance, blood gas analysis, and ventilator management, adhering to physician orders and protocols.

Requires completion of an accredited respiratory program, 3+ years of experience, and appropriate licensure and certifications, including RCP license, BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
