The Nurse independently practices in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies.
Demonstrates awareness of all relevant aspects of patient care and makes appropriate assignments to team members.
Meets competency expectations across leadership levels, utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation) for assigned patients.
Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
Administers medications and treatments per protocol, monitors for side-effects, and documents care details.
Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, families, and caregivers.
Requirements include a BSN (preferred), at least 1 year of related experience, BLS certification, and an RN license in the state of practice or via compact license. The position is full-time.
