A travel nurse is responsible for performing diverse RN functions across various settings and patient populations, requiring critical thinking and flexibility.

Deliver quality, patient-centered care with respect, empathy, and professionalism.

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for patients of all ages, collaborating with the healthcare team.

Administer treatments and medications accurately, documenting in electronic medical records.

Identify and address patient and family educational needs, contributing to performance improvement initiatives.

Act as a patient advocate, support growth and development, and mentor staff and students.

Manage resources, prioritize tasks, and participate in projects and decision-making processes.

Meet educational, licensure, and certification requirements, including BLS and unit-specific training.

Must complete orientation, demonstrate computer literacy, and handle challenging patient behaviors when necessary.
