Mobile Crisis Licensed Eligible Mental Health Professional

Seeking a practical nurse for a 20-bed PCU specializing in trauma patients, with dedicated units for Epilepsy Monitoring and Chronic Ventilator care.

Provides practical nursing under RN or physician supervision, assisting with data collection, planning, and patient care.

Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development to care for patients of all ages, participating in the nursing process and interdisciplinary planning.

Identifies educational needs of patients and families, incorporating them into care plans.

Implements therapeutic treatments, administers medications, and advocates for patient rights and psychosocial support.

Contributes to performance improvement and staff development activities.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, Virginia licensure, BLS certification, and completion of de-escalation training within four months of hire.

Experience is not required; successful completion of orientation and competency assessments is necessary.
