Summary:
The competent Nurse practices independently within a similar clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies.
Delegates tasks appropriately to other care providers to ensure optimal patient management.
Meets core competencies related to self-leadership, team leadership, or leadership at higher levels.
Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—to deliver patient care in line with ANA standards.
Addresses patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs, providing education and support to patients and families.
Administers medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.
Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care details accurately.
Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients and caregivers.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred.
BLS certification required.
RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
Work Schedule:
6AM - 6PM, 12-hour shifts.
