Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Description:
This full-time practical nursing position at CNRVMC in Christiansburg, VA, involves working night shifts (7pm-7am) with rotating weekends and holidays.
Provides nursing care under the supervision of RNs or physicians, assisting in data collection, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient/resident care.
Participates in the nursing process for patients of all ages, contributing to care planning and education, and applying growth and development knowledge.
Implements therapeutic treatments, administers medications, and advocates for patients’ rights and well-being.
Supports performance improvement activities and staff development.
Requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, Virginia licensure, and BLS certification; de-escalation training must be completed within four months of hire.
No prior experience needed; must complete orientation and meet essential job functions.
